Steve Allen came to me through a recommendation of a family friend, although I've never been taught by Steve, I have been taught by his equally as talented partner. Ever since my first drive, Kris couldn't have been more relaxed, calm, collective and wise. She has always felt safe with me behind the wheel, which as a consequence made me a more confident driver. Every instruction and driving explanation is always made crystal clear and she has always made me excited for the next lesson.
You could not have a more human, intimate and better driving instructor not matter how hard you looked.
I started my driving lessons a few years ago with an instructor who I didn't actually feel comfortable with and I didn't look forward to any of my lessons and so concentrated less. But then when I started with Kris I felt really at ease and she took time to see to my needs as I am dyslexic and struggle more than others. She has never let me down and has helped me so much! I would recommend her to anyone as I couldn't have done it without her. She took time and broke everything down so it was easy to understand.. x
I learnt with Kris and I loved it because she was easy to talk to, knows her stuff and doesn't shout at you if you do anything wrong. Instead she would just reassure you and go through it with you so that its understandable and that you know what to do next time. She is also very good at finding spaces to squeeze in lessons and is very reliable, I would definitely recommend learning to drive with her!!
I had lessons with Kris for 6 months and throughout that time there was not one issue. She was on time for every single lesson, and the whole time was always spent learning. I felt like I progressed at a pace which was suitable to me and was supported with every decision I made. I was never pushed but supported and encouraged to progress. I was allocated lessons that were suited to me and around my work which was so helpful. I looked forward to every single lesson and would really recommend this driving school.

I thoroughly enjoyed my driving lessons with Kris and would highly recommend her as a driving instructor. Always punctual, flexible and accommodating when arranging lessons, even fitting in extra lessons at short notice around my other commitments. Nothing was ever too much trouble and I found her communication skills both when making arrangements, and during lessons, clear and highly effective. I felt I made very quick progress with Kris, and was always given excellent instruction to improve. I found my experience just a pleasure. I felt comfortable and at ease during what is meant to be a difficult time. I cant thank Kris Driving School enough for all her help. I tried to take my Theory Test twice and failed. It was only with the help of Kris that I passed and I might add with flying colours! Kris was polite, helpful,professional but most importantly friendly. I came away from Kris Driving School with a driving licence and a friend!!
After a bad experience with a previous instructor, I was recommended Kris Ford Driving School by a friend. Kris fitted me in short notice to accommodate a test that I already had booked. I learnt more with Kris in 8 hours then I did in 20 hours with my previous instructor.
She gave me the skills and confidence to drive in an area which I had recently moved to and was completely unfamiliar with. I now feel confident and excited to drive on my own, anywhere! Kris was always professional and friendly and I could not recommend her enough.

As being orginally very nervous to start driving I choose to go with Kris due to recommendations from friends. I was overly happy with how I was taught. I did not feel pushed or rushed but felt like Kris encouraged me and was always patient. There was constant advice verbally and sometimes through diagrams. I never experienced a problem with Kris. She was always on time for every lesson, and there was constant communication if there were any adjustments needed to make for timings of lessons. It was easy to fit in lessons around my timetable and any commitments I had. I gained an enormous amount of confidence with my driving through learning with Kris. Close to my driving test Kris took time in the evenings to ensure I had enough lessons to prepare me for it. She also gave me very clear support with how the test would work. I would advise anyone to drive with Kris she is very understanding and a great teacher. I feel confident on the road now thanks to Kris.

Kris was very friendly and would always put her all in to each lesson I had with her, packing lots of learning in. Also Kris would always provide me with a lesson no matter how busy she was. I don’t think I would have been able to pass without choosing this driving school, thankyou Kris!

Being a lady in my 40s I was always wanting to pass my test, never really felt comfortable doing this, Kris ford gave me lots of reassurance and confidence to be able to do this..Kris is an amazing instructor that goes above and beyond to get you to pass. I sadly broke my leg while learning and Kris always kept me on her books till I could get back in the driving seat. Please if, like myself and feeling being an older person and wanting to drive I can highly recommend Kris to get you there..

Learning to drive was a skill I had been seeking to master from an early stage and thanks to Kris Fords patient, clinical and calm teaching methods I was able to successfully pass my practical driving test in the summer of 2021. Kris is an amazing driving instructor and exactly who I needed. When I first started driving, I was very nervous but with Kris’s guidance and support not only did my skills grow but my confidence did too. She pushes you to become the best driver you can be but is also incredibly supportive and friendly. I would highly recommend Kris to anyone looking for an instructor.
